Length of Season
The fall season runs from early September to early November.

Volunteer Opt Out Fee
We recognize that not all families have the ability or inclination to volunteer. If you choose not to volunteer to perform at least one volunteer duty, you will be assessed a $55 volunteer opt out fee.
· K – 2nd grade (coach-pitch and tees)
· 3rd - 4th grade (coach-pitch to mid-season, then kid-pitch)
· 5th - 6th grade (kid-pitch)
· 7th - 12th grade (kid-pitch)
A player may be eligible to "play up" in an older league with the consent of the League Commissioner. Special requests for placement in a lower league for physical or skills reasons may always be addressed to league management.
Practices will begin in August. Games will begin the middle to end of September. Most age groups will meet three times per week, two on weekdays and one weekend. The practice day and time are determined by your coach and field availability. A schedule of games will be distributed once the teams are formed and umpires are scheduled. Once games begin, practices will be held one weeknight in addition to one game per weeknight and one game per weekend.
There is no skills assessments for fall softball.
The Fairfax County Neighborhood and Community Services (NCS) provides registration fee scholarships and equipment vouchers to help eligible youth participate in sports programs in Fairfax County. Please follow the link below to apply: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ncs/forms/ysspformr.pdf
